September/October 2010 — Urban Land Magazine — United Kingdom residential developers face difficult times ahead because the Coalition Government has removed housing targets, Nick Keable, vice president of UK operations for The Saint Consulting Group, said at a Urban Land Institute Conference on European Trends in London earlier this summer.

Keable also predicted unsettling times for the UK property industry because of the Government’s considerable agenda for planning reform. Joining him for a panel discussion were Tony Travers, director of the Greater London Group, London School of Economics, Andrew Gould, chief executive of English business for Jones Lang LaSalle, and Dame Judith Mayhew Jonas, chairman of the New West End Company.

A comprehensive report on the conference panel is published in the September/October edition of Urban Land magazine.
