Patrick Fox, president of The Saint Consulting Group, will participate in a Talent Equation panel in New York City on December 12 organized by the Association of Management Consulting Firms.

The day-long program at the Towers Watson, 335 Madison Ave (between 43rd and 44th Streets), 21st Floor, will provide a series of panels, round table discussions and presentations on how consulting firms that compete head-to-head with other industries for the best talent can address key concerns and lay the groundwork for solutions-driven change to the industry and individual players.

The program, called Human Capital Management Affinity Group “The Talent Equation”, is sponsored by Ivyexec, and AMCF has brought together senior partners, career consultants, human resource leaders and other interested parties for a Career Counselors round table discussion that begins at 11 am and goes into an afternoon program to discuss:

  • How is the landscape and environment changing – focusing on other industries such as finance and technology that are competing with us for talent?
  • How can your firm build deeper and more effective relationships with academic institutions, often the main source for talent?
  • What can we do to find solutions that will appeal to a new workforce that is more technologically savvy than ever before?
  • What are concrete action items that firms can start implementing now, even if it calls for significant change from the past?
