Christopher Hopkins, the senior vice president for aggregates and mining at The Saint Consulting Group, will lead a course on overcoming community opposition to development at CONExpo in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 23.
Chris oversees all of the Saint Consulting work in the quarry and mining industries in the US, United Kingdom and Canada. He is a regular speaker on overcoming the difficulties of permitting aggregate quarries and mineral mines. Chris is also a regular guest lecturer at graduate programs in mining at several universities including the University of Arizona, University of Utah and the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
The course, Overcoming Community Opposition #W21, will take place in N101 from 9.30 am to 11 am and is sponsored by the NSSGA (National Stone Sand & Gravel Association), ARTBA (American Road and Transportation Builders Association) and NRMCA (National Ready Mixed Concrete Association).
CONExpo and CON/AGG are being held on the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 22-26.
